Google Play opens on the listing
The download button sends you straight to the Play Store, on the listing called Currency Converter Offline by Codeur d'Ivoire. That is the same app as All Currency Converter: the website carries the brand name, the store carries the listing name.

Install it
Tap Install and Google Play downloads a build matched to your device, then installs it. Nothing to fill in, no form, no email address, and the app appears in your launcher when Play is done.

Pick your currencies
Open the app, choose the currency you convert from and the ones you want it in, from 148 currencies searchable by name or by three-letter code. The app fetches today's rates once and stores them, so the next conversion is ready even if you lose the connection.
What you get once it is installed
- 148 currencies, with one source amount converted into as many target currencies as you want on a single screen, in the order you drag them into.
- Full offline conversion: the app converts from the last rates it synced, with no connection at all, in flight mode or abroad before you have any data.
- Rates from ExchangeRate-API refreshed every hour while you are online, with the time of the last update shown on screen so you always know how fresh the figure is.
- A calculator inside the amount field: add, subtract, multiply and divide directly where you type, and every converted figure follows as you type it.
- Historical charts from 7 days to a full year, with the minimum, maximum, average and percentage change for the pair over the period you choose.
- Rate alerts and an Android home screen widget: your first active alert is free, and the widget is free for seven days after you add it, then part of Pro.
What you need to install it
- Android 8.0 or later, on a phone or a tablet. The app is distributed through Google Play, so you install it the way you install anything else on your device.
- Very little storage. Google Play shows the exact download size for your device on the listing before you install, and the rates the app keeps for offline use are a small table of numbers, not a database you have to manage.
- One permission, requested when you first need it: notifications, so a rate alert can reach you. The app does not ask for your location, your contacts, your photos or your files. Purchases, if you ever make one, go through your Google Play account.
- No account with us. There is nothing to create, no email address to hand over and no sign-in screen before you convert. Signing in to Google is only needed if you turn on Google Drive backup, which is part of the Pro upgrade.
FAQ
Is the currency converter app free to download?
Yes. All Currency Converter is free to download from Google Play and free to use for conversion, including the offline mode, the calculator, the historical charts and your first rate alert. An optional Pro upgrade is sold inside the app, monthly, annually with a 7-day free trial, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, and it covers extra rate alerts, the home screen widget after its seven free days, CSV and PDF export, and Google Drive backup. You are never asked to pay to convert a currency.
Does the app need an internet connection to convert currencies?
No. The app stores the last exchange rates it synced on the device and converts from them with no connection, which is why it is listed on Google Play as Currency Converter Offline. A connection is only used to refresh those rates, which happens automatically every hour while you are online, or immediately when you pull the converter down. The screen always shows the time of the last update, so you can judge how current the figure is before you rely on it.
Do I need an account to use it?
No account, no sign-up and no email address. The app works from the first screen after you install it, and your currencies, favourites and settings stay on your device. The only time Google sign-in comes up is if you choose to back up your settings to your own Google Drive, which is a Pro feature and entirely optional.
How accurate are the exchange rates in the app?
The rates come from ExchangeRate-API and refresh every hour, and they are mid-market rates: the midpoint between the buying and selling price on the wholesale currency market, before anyone's margin. That makes them an accurate reference for planning a trip, pricing an invoice or checking what a purchase abroad cost you. It also means a bank, a card issuer or a bureau de change will give you slightly less, because their margin sits on top of that rate. Treat every figure as indicative information rather than a quote or financial advice.
Is the app available in my language?
The interface is translated into 20 languages, and every currency name is translated with it, so you read "West African CFA franc" or "Swedish krona" rather than only XOF or SEK. The app follows your phone language on first launch and you can change it at any time in the settings, alongside the number of decimals and the thousand separator.
Install it and convert anywhere
Free to download, 148 currencies, live rates when you have a connection and the last synced rates when you do not. No account to create, and 20 languages with every currency name localised.
